The Civil War was a defining event in the history of the United States. The issues, the conflict, the compassion, the brutality, and the personalities from America's deadliest war continue to fascinate us to this day.

Dedicated to developing the known history and a better understanding of this unique war, our organization is just what you've been seeking.  Come get to know us!  Visitors and students are always free and welcome!



LOCATION FOR MEETING:  The Civil War Round Table of the Ozarks will meet at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the Library Center Auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Avenue in south Springfield.  Tanner Christy will speak on "Witness to Sacrifice: The History of the Purple Heart."  We look forward to meeting everyone!  We'll see you there on March 8, 2023.
